RESUMEN

There are important ways to solve the ecological risk problems of regional water resources and soil resources, and to promote the benign development of soil and water resources, involving scientific evaluation of the ecological risk of soil and water resources in Hefei metropolitan area, clarifying the intrinsic evolution law of ecological risk and identifying the characteristics of spatial and temporal variations. Based on the conceptual model of "ST-QS-RR", the evaluation indicator system is constructed, the CRITIC method is used to assign weights, and the TOPSIS method, kernel density method, markov chain and resistance model are used to measure and analyse the spatial and temporal characteristics of ecological risk of soil and water resources, and to explore the main factors that cause ecological risk of soil and water resources. The results of the study show that: (1) Hefei metropolitan area and its cities show a steady decline and the characteristics of "high in the north and low in the south, high in the west and low in the east". (2) Most of the subsystems in the Hefei metropolitan area and the cities show a decreasing trend, with its resistance factors mainly concentrated in the QS system. (3) There is club convergence in Hefei metropolitan area. When the type of adjacent domain is higher, the change of risk type is more sensitive.

RESUMEN

Water resources security is an important cornerstone of regional sustainable development, but the current evaluation system of water resources security is not scientific, and the measurement of safety level has not been optimized by combining algorithms. In this paper, indicators are selected according to the actual situation in Anhui Province. Firstly, correlation analysis (CA) and principal component analysis (PCA) are used to reduce the dimensionality of indicators, and then, the scientific evaluation is carried out based on genetic algorithm optimized back propagation neural network (GA-BP). This paper improves the generalization ability of the evaluation model and overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional model, which is slow in convergence and easy to fall into local optimality. The results showed that the water resources security level showed an obvious improvement trend from 2006 to 2020 and stabilized at a relatively safe level from 2014 to 2020. The subsystem of water resources environmental security is the least secure, followed by the subsystem of social and economic security, and the security of water resources regulation and response is basically stable at a relatively safe level. The conclusion of this study can provide decision-making basis for the relevant research of government, society, and scientific community.

RESUMEN

Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) is a serum glycoprotein exhibiting the unique feature of binding sex steroids with high affinity and specificity. Over the past few decades, there have been significant breakthroughs in our understanding of the function and regulation of SHBG. The biological role of SHBG has expanded from being considered a simple sex hormone transporter to being associated with several complex physiological and pathological changes in a variety of target tissues. Many factors can affect the plasma SHBG levels, with fluctuations in circulating levels affecting the development of various diseases, such as increasing the risk of developing breast cancer. This article reviews the clinical significance of changes in circulating SHBG levels in the development of breast cancer and the possible influence of these levels on endocrine drug resistance in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. Higher levels of plasma SHBG significantly reduce the risk of estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, especially in postmenopausal women. Moreover, the molecular mechanisms by which SHBG affects breast cancer risk are also summarized in detail. Finally, transcriptomics and proteomics data revealed that SHBG expression in breast tissue can effectively distinguish breast cancer from normal tissue. Additionally, the association between SHBG expression levels and various classical tumor-related pathways was investigated.

RESUMEN

This paper focuses on the development trend of industrial carbon emissions in Bengbu city, Anhui Province in the next ten years, and how to help the industry reach the carbon peak as soon as possible. The research process and conclusions are as follows: (1) Through literature review and carbon emission index method, five main factors affecting industrial carbon emission are identified. (2) The resistance model is used to analyze the main resistance factors of industrial carbon emission reduction in Bengbu city. (3) Based on the existing data of Bengbu city from 2011 to 2020, the grey prediction EGM (1,1) model is used to predict the industrial carbon emissions of Bengbu city from 2021 to 2030. The results show that among the five factors, the urbanization rate has the most significant impact on industrial carbon emissions, while energy intensity has the least impact. Bengbu's industrial carbon emissions will continue to increase in the next decade, but the growth rate will be flat. Based on the findings of the analysis, specific recommendations on urbanization development, energy structure, and industrial structure of Bengbu city are put forward.

RESUMEN

Adolescents' problem behaviors constitute a critical indicator of crime, and they play an important role in the growth and development of adolescents and social stability. Using the 2014-2015 school year follow-up data from the China Education Panel Survey, this study investigated the relationship between sleep time, sleep disorders, and adolescents' problem behaviors. Further, we analyzed the mediating effect of mental health status, a key factor influencing adolescent growth and development. The results showed that the frequency of problem behaviors among adolescents was significantly and positively associated with sleep disorders and short sleep time. In addition, mental health status is a channel through which sleep time and sleep disorders affect adolescents' problem behaviors.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND: There is a great need in low- and middle- income countries for sound qualitative and monitoring tools assessing early childhood development outcomes. Although there are many instruments to measure the developmental status of infants and toddlers, their use in large scale studies is still limited because of high costs in both time and money. The Caregiver Reported Early Development Instruments (CREDI), however, were designed to serve as a population-level measure of early childhood development for children from birth to age three, and have been used in 17 low- and middle-income countries. This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the CREDI in China, which is still unknown. METHODS: The CREDI and the ASQ-3 was administered to a sample of 946 children aged 5-36 months from urban and rural communities, in which 248 children was administered with Bayley-III. RESULTS: The internal consistency of the CREDI was high, which indicates that the scale internal consistency reliability is quite good. The results also indicated that the concurrent validity of the CREDI with the Bayley-III scale was high in general. Ordinary least squares regression showed that the CREDI is highly consistent with previous widely used instruments in some key predictors (such as the home stimulation) of early childhood development level. CONCLUSIONS: All the results in the current study indicate that the CREDI may be considered an appropriate instrument to measure early childhood development status on a large scale in impoverished regions of China.
